Endometriosis is an often painful disorder in which tissue that normally lines the inside of your uterus, the endometrium grows outside your uterus. Endometriosis most commonly involves your ovaries, fallopian tubes and the tissue lining your pelvis. Rarely, endometrial tissue may spread beyond pelvic organs.

Endometriosis is the abnormal growth of endometrial tissue similar to that which lines the interior of the uterus, but in a location outside of the uterus. They are less commonly found to involve the vagina, cervix, and bladder Some studies have postulated that women with endometriosis have an increased risk for development of certain types of ovarian cancer, known as epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC).

    Thanks.
So what are the common symptoms? Does it mean that all women with painful menstruation have endometriosis?
